Position: Finance Officer
Key Responsibilities
The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, compliance, and reporting. Duties include:
- Reconciling bank statements and managing cash flow.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Ensuring timely payments to vendors and following up on receivables from clients.
- Processing payroll and verifying expenditure justifications.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies, tax regulations, and legal requirements.
- Preparing financial documentation for audits and management reporting.
- Managing petty cash and other payment processes.
- Ensuring secure documentation and archiving of financial records.
- Handling tax payments, correspondence, and compliance with government bodies.
- Supporting other departments with financial operations and reporting needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- BA degree in Accounting or Accounting & Finance.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and QuickBooks.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in financial documentation.
- Trustworthy, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
