POSITION SUMMARY
The Executive Assistant Manager (EAM) – Operations will oversee the operational performance of lodges and resorts under Ethiopian Skylight Hotel. This role involves strategic management of hospitality services, staff leadership, and ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction. The EAM will report directly to senior leadership and play a key role in expanding the hotel’s brand standards to its lodges and resort properties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct and supervise daily operations of lodges and resorts
- Lead cross-functional teams including F&B, front office, and housekeeping
- Drive guest satisfaction and service quality standards across all touchpoints
- Implement operational policies and cost-control procedures
- Collaborate with HR, marketing, and finance to meet performance targets
- Oversee compliance with safety, hygiene, and hospitality regulations
- Support strategic business planning and service innovation
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Option 1 – BA Degree:
- BA in Food and Beverage Service, Hotel Management, Restaurant Management, Hotels and Tourism Management, Cooperative Business Management, or related field
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including 4 years in a managerial role in a 4/5-star hotel or large-scale catering institute
Option 2 – MA Degree:
- MA in the same relevant fields listed above
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with 3 years in a managerial role in a 4/5-star hotel or large-scale catering institute
