About EthSwitch
EthSwitch is the National Switch of Ethiopia, jointly owned by all banks (private and public), the National Bank of Ethiopia, Microfinance Institutions (MFIs), Payment Instrument Issuers (PIIs), and Payment Service Operators (PSOs).
EthSwitch is mandated to:

Available Positions
1. Cleaner / Messenger I (Definite Period – Two Years)
Qualification:
- Completed Elementary School.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned office areas using proper methods and materials.
- Serve as an internal office messenger for the company.
People Required: 6
Location: Addis Ababa
2. Security Guard
Qualification:
- Completed Elementary School.
- Some work experience preferred.
- Special Training: Basic Military Training.
Responsibilities:
- Protect company premises, assets, and staff.
- Monitor gates, doors, and office facilities.
- Check visitors and vehicles, report suspicious activity.
- Maintain professional, polite, and respectful conduct at all times.

3. Domestic Payment Scheme Expert
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in payment systems, digital financial services, or scheme management.
- At least 3 years hands-on front-end development experience with ReactJS or AngularJS.
- Proven UI/UX design expertise and end-to-end portal delivery.
Core Competencies:
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and component-based design.
- Skilled in ReactJS or AngularJS frameworks.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.
- Proficiency with UI/UX tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and testing tools (Jest, Cypress).
