Ethiopian Reinsurance S.C (Ethiopian Re) is the first reinsurance company incorporated in Ethiopia under the Insurance Business Proclamation No. 746/2012. The company officially commenced operations on July 1, 2016, providing both life and non-life reinsurance services.
With a strong capital base and reliable retrocession support from world-renowned reinsurance companies, Ethiopian Re delivers comprehensive inward reinsurance coverage to domestic insurers while selectively accepting international reinsurance business. The company’s head office is located in Addis Ababa, with future plans to expand internationally.
Available Positions
Position 1: Office Assistant
Qualification:
- Diploma (TVET) in Secretarial Science, Office Management, or related fields
Work Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years directly related experience
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Life Underwriting Officer
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields
Work Experience:
- Minimum of four (4) years directly related experience in (Re)insurance
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 3: Retrocession Management Officer
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields
Work Experience:
- Minimum of four (4) years directly related experience in (Re)insurance
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in English and French (speaking and writing) is mandatory
