Position: System Administrator
Qualifications:
- Education: MSc or BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
- Experience: 2 years (MSc) or 4 years (BSc) of relevant experience in System Administration, SAN administration, and Virtual Systems Administration
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tier III technical support for ECX’s Server and Storage Area Network (SAN) across HQ, DR site, and Regional Trading Centers
- Administer, monitor, and optimize servers, SAN, VMware Hypervisors, Virtual Machines, and Microsoft services
- Ensure backup and recovery of all critical systems and databases (HQ and DR sites)
- Maintain and secure corporate messaging and trading systems
- Troubleshoot system and application errors, logs, and performance issues
- Coordinate with IT teams for optimal infrastructure and security solutions
- Implement network security, user authentication, and resource authorization
- Participate in infrastructure projects from initiation to rollout
- Manage storage configuration, zoning, masking, and auditing
- Ensure 24/7 availability and reliability of ECX systems locally and remotely
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of servers, SANs, and virtualization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, and related services
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and system optimization skills
- Ability to work under pressure with cross-functional IT teams
- High sense of integrity, accountability, and teamwork
