Driver
Education and Requirements
- Completion of 8th grade
- Valid 3rd-grade driving license
Competencies
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced organizational environment
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to vehicle safety
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and transport personnel and materials
- Check vehicle accessories and supplies, including tires, lights, oil, fuel, and water, and ensure the vehicle is ready for duty
- Follow traffic regulations and safe vehicle operation practices
- Provide transportation services to personnel whose travel has been approved by the appropriate official
- Verify transported materials against relevant documents and hand them over to the recipient at the destination against a signed receipt
- Report major vehicle defects to the concerned supervisor with a detailed written description when repairs are required
- Inspect the quality of maintenance work when receiving the vehicle from the maintenance section
- Ensure materials are properly loaded and secured during transportation
- Maintain the vehicle in good working condition and comply with traffic and safety regulations
