Ethio Leather Industry PLC (ELICO) is inviting qualified and interested applicants to apply for the position of Office Administrator (Secretary). Established in August 1997 G.C., ELICO consists of several well-known leather processing and manufacturing units, including Awash Tannery, Ethio Pickling (Abyssinia Tannery), Universal Leather Products Factory, and Tikur Abay Shoe Factory.
The company is seeking a professional and organized individual to provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to senior executives while ensuring efficient office operations and effective communication.

Educational Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Secretarial Science, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant secretarial or administrative experience
- Experience supporting senior executives is mandatory
Job Summary
The Office Administrator (Secretary) provides high-level administrative and secretarial support to senior executives. The role ensures smooth office operations, effective communication, efficient coordination of executive activities, and the maintenance of confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Manage executive calendars, appointments, and meetings
- Organize and coordinate internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas and meeting minutes
- Handle correspondence, including emails, letters, and telephone communications on behalf of senior management
- Prepare reports, presentations, and official documents
- Maintain confidential records, files, and documents
- Arrange travel, accommodation, and logistics for executives
- Act as a liaison between management, staff, and external stakeholders
- Monitor office supplies and ensure administrative efficiency
- Follow up on tasks, deadlines, and action points for management
- Support the planning and execution of company events and meetings
- Ensure proper document control and filing systems
