Position: CCTV Camera Control Officer
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
- Zero years of experience required
- Certificate in Security or CCTV Operation is an added advantage
Experience (Preferred)
- Previous experience in CCTV monitoring, surveillance, or security operations is desirable but not mandatory
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor CCTV cameras, screens, and recording systems
- Detect, identify, and report suspicious activities, incidents, or safety risks
- Ensure CCTV equipment is functional and properly positioned
- Record incidents accurately in logbooks and incident report formats
- Preserve video footage for investigations when required
- Operate playback, recording, and data storage systems
- Report technical faults or camera malfunctions promptly
- Coordinate with security guards and emergency response teams
- Maintain confidentiality of surveillance information and records
- Ensure CCTV operations comply with company policies and legal requirements
- Maintain daily monitoring logs and prepare reports for management

- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Integrity, honesty, and confidentiality awareness
- Basic technical understanding of CCTV systems
- Ability to work shifts (day, night, weekends)

- Emergency response readiness when required

- Timely detection and reporting of incidents
- Accuracy and completeness of surveillance reports
- CCTV system uptime and monitoring effectiveness
