Junior QA Engineer
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Computer Science
- Software Engineering
- Related fields
Experience Requirement
- 0–2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Internship experience is acceptable
Additional Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Basic understanding of software testing principles and QA processes
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools and test management systems (e.g., Tuleap) is an advantage
- Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as:
- Python
- Java
- SQL
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing test cases and reporting defects accurately
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements
- Support preparation of test plans, test cases, and documentation
- Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure system performance and stability
- Assist senior QA engineers with regression, functional, and integration testing
- Record and track issues using QA tools and ensure timely resolution
- Verify that products meet business and technical requirements
- Stay updated on QA tools, methodologies, and best practices
