Position: Head Chef – Swedish Residence
Required Qualifications & Work Experience
- Formal culinary education or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience as a Chef in:
- Fine dining establishments
- Luxury hotels
- Private residences
- Excellent knowledge of international cuisines and modern culinary trends
- Experience in:
- Kitchen operations management
- Supervising kitchen staff
- Strong background in:
- Budgeting
- Purchasing
- Inventory management
- Flexibility regarding working hours
- Proficiency in English and Amharic
- Valid residence permit (if applicable)
Required Skills
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing kitchen and service teams
- Genuine passion for culinary arts and food innovation
- Valid driver’s license (minimum Category B)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality results
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
Merit (Advantage)
- Knowledge of and/or interest in Swedish and Scandinavian cuisine
