Position: Head Chef – Swedish Residence

Required Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Formal culinary education or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven experience as a Chef in:
    • Fine dining establishments
    • Luxury hotels
    • Private residences
  • Excellent knowledge of international cuisines and modern culinary trends
  • Experience in:
    • Kitchen operations management
    • Supervising kitchen staff
  • Strong background in:
    • Budgeting
    • Purchasing
    • Inventory management
  • Flexibility regarding working hours
  • Proficiency in English and Amharic
  • Valid residence permit (if applicable)

Required Skills

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing kitchen and service teams
  • Genuine passion for culinary arts and food innovation
  • Valid driver’s license (minimum Category B)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality results
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism

Merit (Advantage)

  • Knowledge of and/or interest in Swedish and Scandinavian cuisine
