Position Summary: Junior Site Engineer (Post-Tensioning)
The Junior Site Engineer will play a critical role in supervising and executing post-tensioning activities on major infrastructure and high-rise projects. You will collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate implementation of construction plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and implement post-tensioning drawings and structural layouts
- Assist with site supervision, inspection, and quality control of post-tensioning installations
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers on PT equipment and materials
- Conduct progress tracking and reporting using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
- Ensure compliance with construction safety and quality standards
- Participate in site meetings, inspections, and client communication
- Support inventory and asset tracking related to PT systems and stressing equipment
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- BSc Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology and Management
Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years of work experience in post-tensioning or structural engineering on large-scale infrastructure or high-rise projects
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading PT layouts and structural drawings
- Familiarity with post-tensioning systems, including stressing and anchoring techniques
- Basic use of MS Project or Primavera for project scheduling
- Understanding of construction safety standards and QA/QC practices
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving
- Client-service mindset and ability to work in fast-paced environments
