Position Summary: Druggist / Store Officer
We are looking for a qualified Druggist / Store Officer with pharmaceutical experience to join our team in Addis Ababa. The ideal candidate will manage inventory processes, ensure safe and organized storage of pharmaceutical products, and support efficient delivery to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming pharmaceutical supplies and verify against purchase orders.
- Inspect product quality, condition, and expiry dates.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Store products in compliance with regulatory and company standards (temperature, humidity, light).
- Monitor and report on stock levels and expiry dates.
- Prepare and dispatch pharmaceutical products based on approved sales orders.
- Coordinate with logistics and sales teams for timely delivery.
- Implement safety and security measures in the storage area.
- Handle damaged, expired, or recalled products as per protocol.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Diploma in Pharmacy
- Experience: Minimum 1 year working in a drug store or pharmacy as a Druggist
- Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills
- Basic understanding of pharmaceutical inventory management
- Familiarity with regulatory and quality assurance standards
- Good communication and coordination skills
