POSITION SUMMARY
The Digital Channel Officer plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the bank’s digital platforms and services. This role enhances customer engagement, expands the bank’s digital reach, and ensures seamless, user-friendly access to digital financial services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and enhance the bank’s digital banking platforms (mobile banking, internet banking, USSD, etc.)
- Analyze and report on digital engagement metrics and customer behavior
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, marketing, operations) to improve digital service delivery
- Monitor trends in digital banking and recommend innovations
- Support and maintain card banking systems and assist in troubleshooting technical issues
- Ensure brand consistency across digital channels
- Provide support on user training and onboarding for digital tools
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, MIS, or a closely related field
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in a relevant position
- At least 1 year experience as a Junior Card Banking Officer or related role
- Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of fintech and banking technology
- Familiarity with digital user interfaces and customer experience best practices
- Strong analytical and communication skills
