Position Summary: Loan Officer
As a Loan Officer, you will be on the front lines of transforming lives through responsible financial services. This customer-facing role is ideal for enthusiastic, sales-driven individuals looking to make a social impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Loan Promotion & Client Onboarding
- Promote DIGAF’s digital loan products to eligible customers.
- Educate clients on loan terms, repayment, and financial responsibility.
- Onboard and verify clients following company compliance procedures.
2. Customer Verification & Field Visits
- Conduct physical verifications at customer workplaces.
- Confirm job details, verify documents (ID, employee badge, bank statement).
- Engage directly with clients and coworkers during site visits.
3. Loan Application Processing
- Evaluate and verify submitted loan documents.
- Assess eligibility based on credit policy.
- Forward complete files to the verification team for approval.
4. Loan Repayment Monitoring & Collection
- Monitor repayment schedules.
- Follow up with clients for timely collections.
- Engage non-compliant borrowers to prevent loan defaults.
5. Delinquency Management
- Proactively minimize delinquency and apply collection procedures.
6. Customer Retention
- Build long-term relationships with clients.
- Support repeat borrowing and promote additional financial services.
7. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain organized records of customer files and loan activity.
- Submit reports on disbursements, repayments, and delinquent accounts.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (open to fresh graduates).
- Experience: 0+ years (experience in customer service or field visits is a plus).
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Confidence in conducting field visits
- Attention to detail and compliance
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Customer-oriented and goal-driven
