As a finance leader, you will help us modernize and digitize our internal processes while maintaining full compliance and financial control.
Position: RTR & PTP Supervisor
Education & Skills Required:
- Qualified accountant
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Project management experience is preferred
- Fluent in English (Mandatory)
Experience Required:
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in RTR (Record to Report) and PTP (Procure to Pay) functions, preferably in a global company or logistics environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance operations for DHL Ethiopia
- Ensure accurate month-end closing, financial reporting, and compliance with IFRS and local tax regulations
- Manage:
- Income Tax, VAT returns, and statutory audits
- Fixed Assets verification and accounting
- Payroll verification and approvals
- Vendor invoice processing and payment oversight
- Coordinate with MUSSC for Balance Sheet reconciliation and Vendor management
- Handle cash and bank reconciliations, petty cash, and supplier account reviews
- Own the CRISP process end-to-end
- Supervise usage and training of systems like Bizagi, MUP, Basware Alusta
- Address internal audit findings and ensure strong control frameworks are in place
- Mentor and support finance team members and control owners
- Ensure accurate and timely vendor payments and purchase order processes
- Liaise with banks for guarantees, transactions, and credit arrangements
