Position: Key Account Executive
The Key Account Executive plays a crucial role in managing relationships with major clients, ensuring service excellence, and driving operational efficiency through proactive communication and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the full suite of customer service offerings including bookings, quotations, inquiries, and supply requests for key account customers.
- Provide customized contracted services such as reporting and mailroom management.
- Proactively inform clients about shipment delays, potential service issues, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with the Customer Care & Key Account Supervisor and Sales Managers to ensure smooth execution of key account strategies.
- Conduct joint visits to key customers to strengthen relationships and gather feedback.
- Track and monitor shipments, ensuring prompt resolution of any delays using DHL systems.
- Prioritize customer complaints and claims, escalating complex cases when necessary.
- Continuously assess and improve service delivery processes to meet evolving client needs.
Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Prior experience in customer service or sales (preferably in logistics or freight forwarding).
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent customer interaction and presentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with DHL Systems preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
- High motivation and commitment to service quality.
