Position: Procurement Officer
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing local and international purchasing activities, logistics coordination, and inventory control to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines from a recognized university
- Minimum CGPA of 2.75
- At least 2 years of experience in local and/or foreign purchasing and general logistics
- Practical experience in import processes including documentation, banking procedures, and customs clearance
- Proficiency in basic computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Self-motivated, able to work under minimal supervision, and a strong team player
- Possession of a Grade 2 driving license is mandatory
Key Responsibilities
- Manage stores and inventory operations
- Handle local and international procurement processes
- Coordinate logistics activities and general operational tasks
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Support efficient supply chain and delivery timelines
