Position Summary: Data Entry & Management Intern
The Data Entry & Management Intern will support the BRIDGE+ Project team by ensuring timely, accurate, and quality data collection, cleaning, and management from 23 milksheds. This role offers hands-on exposure to MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) processes while contributing to evidence-based decision-making in project implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data collection, cleaning, and quality assurance.
- Support milkshed activities related to routine MEAL responsibilities.
- Ensure accuracy checks and maintain high data quality standards.
- Facilitate routine data flow from regional teams to the national database.
- Coordinate with the national MEAL team for evaluations and project reviews.
- Promote consistent use of data for project performance tracking and reporting.
- Engage in regular data review and joint validation sessions with project teams.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Information Systems, M&E, or related field.
- Experience: Prior experience in MEL/data support or data entry roles (short-term) is an advantage.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong Excel skills (including analytical tools and data handling).
- Familiarity with M&E platforms (LogAlto or similar is a plus).
- Core Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Good written and spoken English.
