Position 1: Junior Software Support Officer
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- Software Engineering or related field
- Relevant certifications are an advantage
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Technical Competencies
- Proven experience in core banking systems and applications
- Understanding of systems planning, security principles, and software management best practices
- Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws
- Experience in:
- Systems and storage capacity management
- Maintenance and lifecycle planning
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools
- Experience in VMware virtualization (design, build, administration)
- Experience with SQL administration and related toolsets
Work Location
- Addis Ababa
Position 2: Software Support Officer
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- Software Engineering or related field
- Relevant certifications are an advantage
Experience
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience
Technical Competencies
- Proven experience in core banking systems and related applications
- Strong understanding of:
- Systems planning
- Security principles
- Software management best practices
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations
- Experience in:
- System and storage capacity management
- Forecasting and lifecycle planning
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools
- Experience in VMware virtualization environments
- Strong knowledge of SQL administration and tools
