Position: Cyber Security Specialist
We are looking for a skilled and certified Cyber Security Specialist to join our team in Addis Ababa. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in IT and network security, with hands-on experience in safeguarding digital infrastructure against cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct penetration testing, risk assessments, and regular audits.
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection systems.
- Develop, update, and enforce cyber security policies and procedures.
- Conduct employee awareness and training programs on cyber security best practices.
- Ensure compliance with recognized cyber security frameworks and standards.
Qualifications
- Cyber Security Certificate (Required — applications without a certificate will not be considered).
- Proven experience in IT Security, Network Security, or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of VPNs, encryption technologies, firewalls, and security frameworks.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and incident-response skills.
