Program Overview
The Cross Culture Program (CCP) offers international participants the chance to gain professional experience through practical training in host organizations in Germany or in CCP partner countries. Participants will work in fields such as civil society, media, education, digital innovation, sustainability, and human rights.
Upon completion, fellows are expected to apply their newly gained knowledge and skills within their home countries, fostering international collaboration and social impact.
Applications are now open for the Cross Culture Fellowships Program (CCP) 2026 in Germany. This prestigious exchange program, organized by the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (ifa) and funded by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, offers a Fully Funded opportunity for talented individuals from over 40 countries to spend 2–3 months in Germany or in CCP partner countries.
The program provides a platform for professionals and volunteers from various sectors to enhance their skills, gain intercultural experience, and contribute to strengthening civil society networks across the globe.
Approximately 90 fully funded fellowships are awarded each year.
Financial Benefits
The CCP 2026 Fellowship is a Fully Funded program, covering all major expenses.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Cross Culture Fellowships Program 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be between 23 and 45 years old at the time of application
- Possess strong English language skills (written and spoken)
- Demonstrate relevant volunteer or professional experience
- Be socially and civically engaged for the long term
- Be in good health for an extended stay abroad
Selection Process
- All shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email.
- Selected applicants will be invited for an interview at the German Embassy.
- In exceptional cases, interviews may be conducted online via phone or Skype.
- Final selection results will be announced by the end of January 2026.
