Position Available

IT Intern

The IT Intern will support the organization’s Level 1 IT support activities, including hardware and software support, troubleshooting, network assistance, and user support services.

Qualification Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Related fields

Required Skills & Competencies

Applicants should have:

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good English communication skills.
• Basic understanding of IT systems and user support.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Intern will assist with:

• Hardware and software installation procedures.
• Software configuration on computers and laptops.
• Diagnosing hardware and software problems.
• Troubleshooting IT-related issues.
• Installing and maintaining network cables and connections.
• Responding to user IT support requests.
• Hardware and software inventory management.
• Periodic maintenance of IT equipment.
• Troubleshooting printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Collecting user requirements and supporting report preparation.
• Providing ongoing assistance to users with IT problems.

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
