Position: Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Technologist
The GMP Technologist will report to the Quality Assurance Technologist at the Dire Dawa plant and will ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
The role focuses on maintaining product quality, hygiene standards, and regulatory compliance in production processes.
Educational Qualification
- First Degree in:
- Applied Biology
- Food Microbiology
Work Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
Key Attributes and Competencies
- Conduct microbiological tests
- Perform GMP audits
- Manage sensory evaluation processes
- Manage laboratory supplies and routines
- Control non-conforming products and incoming raw materials
- Monitor product quality
- Supervise and support staff development
- Monitor plant CIP (Clean-in-Place) routines
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
- Monitor and maintain quality management systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing operations
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal company quality standards
- Maintain product safety, hygiene, and quality across production processes
