East Africa Bottling S.C., the exclusive bottler of Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia, invites qualified, driven, and passionate professionals to apply for the position of Area Sales Manager. The company is part of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, one of the largest Coca-Cola bottlers on the continent.
POSITION: AREA SALES MANAGER
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- First Degree in Marketing Management, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field of study
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Sales and Marketing
- At least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Hands-on experience in Sales Operations
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Valid Auto / Dry 1 driving license
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and manage teams
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maximize allocation of sales resources (POS materials, coolers, etc.)
- Manage and monitor daily sales targets and take corrective actions
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team
- Ensure effective trade and outlet execution
- Develop and grow sales outlets
- Drive sales volume and market share growth
- Develop and execute customer-specific business plans
- Monitor and analyze competitive market activities
- Ensure compliance with Quality Standards
- Manage trade replacements and quality-related issues
- Implement and monitor promotional plans
- Report promotional deviations with store owners/managers
- Ensure promotional compliance
- Conduct frequent trade visits with regional sales personnel
