The company is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and highly competent finance professional to join its Financial Control team.
This position reports directly to the Country Lead: Financial Control and plays a critical role in ensuring accurate accounting, reporting, and management of fixed assets and capital expenditure in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and company policies.

Position: Fixed Asset-Financial Accountant
The Fixed Asset-Financial Accountant is responsible for ensuring effective control, accounting, monitoring, and reporting of fixed assets and capital investments. The role supports financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and efficient asset lifecycle management across the organization.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant finance experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Fixed Asset Management and Reporting
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records and registers.
- Monitor asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and adjustments.
- Ensure accurate classification and capitalization of assets.
Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Management
- Monitor and control capital expenditure projects.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment of capital investments.
- Support budget monitoring and expenditure tracking.
Depreciation and Asset Lifecycle Management
- Calculate and monitor asset depreciation in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
- Manage asset lifecycle activities from acquisition to disposal.
- Conduct periodic asset verification exercises.
Reconciliations and Financial Close
- Perform fixed asset reconciliations.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Prepare reports and supporting schedules for financial statements.
Audit and Compliance
- Support internal and external audit activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.
Tax and Regulatory Compliance
- Support tax-related reporting and compliance activities.
- Ensure adherence to applicable accounting and regulatory standards.
Process Improvement and Internal Controls
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
- Support implementation of financial control enhancements.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with finance teams, operational departments, and management.
- Provide financial information and analysis to support decision-making.
