Position: Logistics Assistant
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to support logistics and intermodal operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of shipping and export processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, international logistics environment.
Educational Qualifications
- BA Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related business field
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in shipping, logistics, export, or other supply chain-related fields
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor equipment handling and delivery
- Facilitate communication and processes with all involved stakeholders for operational efficiency
- Maintain strong and timely customer communication
- Ensure effective intermodal coordination and follow-up
- Prepare and submit logistics reports in accordance with company timelines
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
- Quick to learn, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
