About Chora Gas and Chemical Product Factory
Chora Gas and Chemical Product Factory (CGCPF) is one of Ethiopia’s pioneering industrial manufacturers, originally established in 1938 E.C. under the name SEDE with an initial capital of 1,500 birr. The factory began operations producing oxygen, acetylene gas, Sedex bleach, and wax products, becoming a vital contributor to Ethiopia’s industrial development.
In 1976 E.C., CGCPF became a government-owned enterprise under the National Chemical Corporation, and later, with the corporation’s dissolution in 1985 E.C., it gained full operational independence under the Public Enterprise Service Authority (PESA). Today, CGCPF continues its legacy of innovation, reliability, and quality in chemical and gas manufacturing.
Position: Sales Invoice Officer
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma or BA Degree in Accounting, Marketing Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in invoicing, accounting, or sales administration.
- Experience in a manufacturing or trading company is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, verify, and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Record sales transactions in compliance with company policies and tax regulations.
- Maintain and organize all invoice-related documentation for audits and internal review.
- Coordinate with the sales, finance, and logistics teams to ensure accurate billing.
- Reconcile invoice discrepancies and assist in resolving customer billing inquiries.
- Support reporting and record-keeping activities as required by management.
