China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) is currently recruiting fresh graduates and experienced candidates to join its Ethiopian Branch projects in Addis Ababa. The company is looking for qualified professionals in architecture and landscape design to support its ongoing construction and infrastructure development activities in Ethiopia.
CCECC is one of the largest international construction companies operating across Africa and globally. Through its Ethiopian branch, the company contributes significantly to major infrastructure, building construction, and development projects in the country.
Available Job Positions
Position 1: Architectural Intern
Educational Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
- Training or certification in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools is an advantage.
Work Experience
- No prior work experience required.
- This internship is designed for fresh graduates and final-year students.
- Academic projects related to offices, hospitals, banks, or similar facilities will be considered an advantage.
- Basic understanding of Ethiopian architectural standards is beneficial.
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Junior Architect
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Architectural Engineering.
- Additional training or certification in architectural design software is an asset.
Work Experience
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in architectural design is encouraged.
- Applicants with less than 5 years of experience may apply.
- Experience in architectural design projects such as office buildings, hospitals, banks, and similar facilities is advantageous.
- Good understanding of Ethiopian architectural standards and construction practices.
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
Position 3: Landscape Architect
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture with specialization in Landscape Architecture (MSc), or
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA or BSLA).
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape design and construction.
- Knowledge of landscape ecology, site design, and outdoor planning.
- Experience in the design of parks, gardens, and outdoor public areas.
Technical Skills
- Ability to work with computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) tools.
- Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) is an advantage.
- Ability to design landscapes that are both functional and visually appealing.
- Familiarity with Ethiopian construction and landscape standards.
Additional Requirements
- Previous experience in landscape architecture for office, hospital, or bank projects is preferred.
- Strong English communication and writing skills.
- Knowledge of the Chinese language is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow work arrangements.
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
Position 4: Senior Architect
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Additional training or certifications in architectural design software are beneficial.
Work Experience
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in architectural design.
- Proven experience working on office, hospital, bank, and similar building projects.
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian architectural standards and construction practices.
