Available Positions
1. Climate and Nature Programme & Policy Officer
Key Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Amharic (written and spoken)
- Experience in climate and nature policy, including climate finance and carbon markets
- Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills
- Understanding of Ethiopian climate and environmental policy systems
- Strong analytical, data interpretation, and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Desirable:
- Experience in project/programme management
Location: Addis Ababa
2. Deputy Country Director – SEO (Department for Business & Trade)
Key Requirements:
- Postgraduate or undergraduate degree with relevant experience
- Experience supporting business development and commercial opportunities
- Background in private sector, government, or international organisations
- Strong leadership and cross-team collaboration experience
- Client-facing experience (investment or professional services preferred)
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Fluency in English and Amharic
- Strong networking and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
- Knowledge of investment appraisal, deal structuring, and business development
- Experience managing budgets
- Understanding of UK–Ethiopia economic relations
