OPEN POSITIONS
Position 1: Humanitarian Policy and Reporting Officer (SEO)
Salary: USD $2,103.01/month
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, report, and analyze humanitarian developments in Ethiopia
- Draft policy briefings, presentations, and humanitarian updates
- Coordinate with national and international humanitarian partners
- Provide strategic insight into the Ethiopian humanitarian architecture
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience in humanitarian or donor organizations
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Skilled in data analysis and information presentation
- Deep understanding of Ethiopia’s humanitarian policies
Position 2: Finance Analyst (HEO)
Salary: USD $1,439.40/month
Key Responsibilities:
- Support development programme delivery and budget planning
- Provide financial insights to teams across the Embassy
- Manage financial reports, risks, and audits
- Ensure compliance with donor and organizational regulations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
- 7+ years of financial management experience in development or aid sector
- Part or fully qualified in ACCA, CIPFA, ICAEW, ICAS, CIMA, or equivalent
- Strong Excel and financial communication skills
Position 3: Finance Lead (G7)
Salary: USD $2,763.20/month
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Embassy’s finance team and oversee strategic budgeting
- Guide risk management and anti-fraud practices
- Provide high-level advice on aid program delivery and financial performance
- Ensure financial reporting is compliant with UK government standards
Required Qualifications:
- Member of ACCA, CIMA, or international equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in finance, with team management
- Background in audit and procurement is a plus
- Strong command of risk and performance management
