Position: Regional English Connects Lead, SSA

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage teacher development projects across Sub-Saharan Africa, both face-to-face and online.
  • Oversee and grow digital learning networks and communities of practice.
  • Support English Language Teaching (ELT) policy integration and alignment with global research and trends.
  • Manage grant and contract-based projects, ensuring compliance and impact delivery.

Requirements

  • English language teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in teacher development projects (digital and in-person).
  • Experience managing online learning communities or digital networks.
  • Knowledge of ELT education policy and international research trends.
  • Strong background in grant/contract management.
  • Must have legal right to work in one of the listed countries (no relocation or visa sponsorship available).
