Position: Booking Agent
Are you detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about customer service? Join AddisFly as a Booking Agent and play a key role in supporting our travelers with efficient and accurate flight and ticketing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage flight reservations and ticket bookings using IATA-accredited systems
- Assist customers with travel inquiries and provide accurate itinerary information
- Resolve booking and scheduling issues promptly and professionally
- Promote travel packages and meet monthly sales targets
- Maintain high levels of accuracy in customer information and documentation
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Tourism, Travel Management, or related fields
Experience:
- 2–3 years of work experience in a travel agency
- MUST have worked in an IATA-accredited agency
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Amharic
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and travel booking platforms
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven sales and customer service abilities
- Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot booking issues
- Energetic, proactive, confident, and customer-oriented
Working Conditions
- Office-based with occasional remote customer interaction
- Standard full-time hours, with occasional evenings/weekends
