BNT Industry and Trading PLC is a diversified Ethiopian company actively engaged in coffee export, coffee farming, dry cargo transport, and the importation of industrial chemicals and construction materials.
The company operates under its sister firm, Ranger Industry & Trading PLC, established in May 2017 with a paid-up capital of Birr 5 million. Since its founding, BNT has become a key player in exporting premium Ethiopian Arabica Coffee, especially specialty coffee from the Ethiopian highlands, to the international market.
Available Positions
Position 1: Cashier Accountant
Education:
- BA Degree in Accounting.
- Computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel is required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a cashier accountant.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing sector is advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare cheques and related payment documents.
- Maintain documentation, filing, and tracking of payment and advance transactions.
- Prepare receipts for cash replenishment and ensure tax compliance on purchases or refunds.
- Reconcile petty cash reports, receipts, and balances.
- Issue receipts, process payments, and handle refunds according to company policy.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Check and balance daily cash accounts.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly transaction reports.
- Handle receipts, vouchers, and coupons.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Position 2: Import Officer
Education:
- BA Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Economics, Accounting, Business Management, or related fields.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an import officer.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proficient in using the Single Window System application.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and shipping policies.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Effective written and verbal communication, particularly via email and telephone.
