Position: Chief Corporate Finance and Advisory Officer
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields
- Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position
- Strong understanding of Ethiopian Capital Market regulations and securities operations
- Proven expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), financial modeling, valuation, and capital markets
- CISI Level 1 certification (mandatory); CFA, ACCA, or CPA preferred
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee corporate finance mandates including M&A, capital raising, and valuations
- Deliver strategic financial advisory services to corporate, institutional, and government clients
- Supervise financial modeling, due diligence, and preparation of transaction documentation
- Ensure regulatory compliance with ECMA, ESX, and internal corporate policies
- Develop and implement departmental strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and innovative financial products
- Lead, mentor, and grow the corporate finance team to achieve performance excellence
- Manage risk, internal controls, and ethical standards in all financial operations
