1. Research Officer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification: CISI Introduction to Investment (Level 3) minimum.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant research experience.
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation expertise.
- Proficiency in statistical tools and financial modeling.
Role Summary:
The Research Officer will conduct in-depth financial, economic, and sectoral research to support Awash Capital’s investment and advisory services. Responsibilities include data gathering, analysis, and forecasting to produce actionable insights that inform investment strategies and product development.

2. Company Secretary & Legal Officer
Qualifications:
- LLB or higher in Law.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in legal advisory or company secretarial roles.
- Experience in financial institutions preferred.
Role Summary:
The Company Secretary & Legal Officer will act as a governance and compliance advisor to Awash Capital. The role involves ensuring adherence to Ethiopian corporate and capital market laws, supporting the Board of Directors, managing statutory obligations, and safeguarding corporate governance standards.

3. Business Development Officer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- CISI Introduction to Investment (Level 3) minimum.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, marketing, or sales.
- Experience in financial services is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Amharic (additional local languages a plus).
- Strong MS Office skills; design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) a plus.
Role Summary:
The Business Development Officer will lead market engagement, client acquisition, and brand visibility efforts. The role requires strong skills in relationship building, financial services marketing, and digital tools to expand Awash Capital’s footprint in Ethiopia’s capital market.

4. Head of Research and Business Development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CISI Level 3 is a plus).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in financial research, business strategy, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong knowledge of the Ethiopian financial market, investment products, and principles.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Amharic (other local languages a plus).
Role Summary:
This is a senior leadership role responsible for strategic research, product development, and market expansion initiatives. The Head of Research and Business Development will oversee research output, guide business strategies, and drive investment opportunities aligned with Awash Capital’s mission.
