Position 1: Internal Audit Officer

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • Economics
  • Related fields
• Master’s Degree is preferred.

Professional Certification

The following certifications are considered an advantage:

• CPA
• ACCA
• CIA

Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive audit experience.
• Experience in investment banking or the financial services sector is highly preferred.

Required Knowledge

• International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Ethiopian regulatory requirements.
• Risk-based auditing methodologies.
• Capital markets, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent decision-making ability.
• Proficiency in audit tools and data analysis.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office:
  • Excel
  • Word
  • PowerPoint

Position 2: Research, Planning and Monitoring Officer

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in:

• Economics
• Finance
• Business Administration
• Project Management
• Monitoring and Evaluation
• Accounting
• Statistics
• Development Studies
• Related fields

Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in:
  • Research
  • Strategic planning
  • Monitoring
  • Business analysis
  • Financial services or investment banking

Required Knowledge

• Economic and financial analysis.
• Capital market analysis.
• Ethiopia’s investment banking regulatory environment.
• Performance management frameworks.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Business analytics.

Required Skills

• Excellent analytical and research skills.
• Strong report writing and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office:
  • Excel
  • Word
  • PowerPoint
• Experience with Power BI or other data analytics tools is an advantage.
• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and accountability.
• Ability to manage multiple planning, monitoring, and reporting assignments.
