To strengthen its finance team, Awash Capital S.C. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to gain hands-on experience in financial operations and reporting within a dynamic banking environment.
Position: Finance Intern
This internship opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or final-year students looking to build practical experience in finance, accounting, reconciliation, and compliance within Ethiopia’s investment banking sector.
Key Responsibilities
Support recording of daily financial transactions and preparation of payment vouchers
Assist in bank and supplier reconciliations
Help prepare financial reports and budget variance analysis
Provide support during internal and external audits
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
Deliver weekly and monthly financial reports as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields
Minimum CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage
Excellent communication skills in English and Amharic
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
