About Akufada Micro Finance Institution
Akufada Micro Finance Institution S.C. is a licensed microfinance institution established under the National Bank of Ethiopia’s Micro-Financing Business Proclamation No. 626/2009 and its amendment Proclamation No. 1164/2019. The institution received its business license on August 1, 2022, and officially commenced operations on October 22, 2022.
Akufada Micro Finance was established to provide accessible financial and non-financial services, including loans, savings, and micro-insurance products, to low-income and underserved communities. The institution is committed to promoting financial inclusion and supporting Ethiopia’s economic development.
Position: Customer Service Officer
Akufada Micro Finance Institution is seeking qualified and customer-focused professionals to join its branch operations as Customer Service Officers.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:
- Accounting
- Economics
- Management
- Related fields
Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in:
- Microfinance institutions
- Banks
- Other related financial institutions
Salary
- As per the company salary scale
Duty Stations
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver quality customer service to clients
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Promote the institution’s financial products and services
- Maintain customer records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and procedures
- Support branch operations and customer relationship management
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
