POSITION: JUNIOR BIM & CAD ENGINEER
Educational Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of a BSc Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and Technology.
- Minimum CGPA of 3.00.
- Graduates of 2017 E.C. or 2025/2026 G.C. from recognized Ethiopian higher education institutions are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Applicants should demonstrate the following abilities and interests:
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, internet browsing, and email.
- Excellent visualization skills.
- Willingness to learn and work with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
- Interest in structural detailing, including formwork, reinforcement, pre-tensioning, and structural steel.
- Interest in multidisciplinary project coordination.
- Understanding of sound construction and structural detailing practices.
- Critical-thinking skills and the ability to produce accurate, clear, complete, cost-effective, and constructible technical drawings.
Additional Skills (Advantages, Not Mandatory)
The following skills are desirable but are not mandatory:
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Experience using Autodesk Revit through academic or personal projects, including undergraduate projects.
- Ability to use Autodesk AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and applications.
