Position: Senior Accountant
Education & Experience
- BA Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–4 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Reconcile account balances and bank statements
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts
- Oversee daily financial transactions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance with regulations
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Peachtree, ERP systems)
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
- Knowledge of auditing standards and compliance procedures
- Budget, inventory, and procurement management experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration
