Position: Senior Customer Service Officer I – Accounts/Cash
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Accounting, Banking, or related fields
- Minimum of 2 years relevant banking experience (at least 1 year as Customer Service Officer)
Role Summary:
Reporting to the Branch Manager I, the Senior Customer Service Officer I provides both front and back-office banking services. Responsibilities include account management, loan processing, cash handling, fund transfers, and promoting banking products. The role also supports credit processing, ensures compliance, maintains accurate records, and contributes to daily branch operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Cash and Transaction Management: Handle cash transactions, cheque truncation, remittances, and transaction approvals within limits.
- Account and Loan Administration: Open and verify accounts, process loan contracts, manage collateral records, and follow up on repayments.
- Reconciliation and Reporting: Reconcile accounts, prepare daily income/expense reports, and generate risk and financial reports.
- Customer Service & Product Promotion: Provide assistance with debit cards, mobile banking, and other services while promoting bank products.
- Record Keeping & Compliance: Maintain secure, accurate records and ensure adherence to bank policies and regulatory standards.
