Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:
- Accounting and Finance
- Banking
- Management
- A closely related field
Work Experience
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Interest-Free Banking (IFB).
- At least 1 year of experience at officer level or in an equivalent position.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of Interest-Free Banking operations and Sharia compliance.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Accuracy in banking transactions and account management.
- Understanding of internal controls and risk management.
Job Grade: VIII
Duty Station: Dessie, Ethiopia.
2. Branch Manager I – IFB Branch
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, Banking, Management, or a closely related field.
Work Experience
- At least 7 years of relevant Interest-Free Banking (IFB) experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role or an equivalent position.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Interest-Free Banking operations and Sharia compliance.
- Experience in business development and deposit mobilization.
- Ability to manage financial performance and branch operations.
- Strong leadership and staff supervision skills.
- Knowledge of operational risk management.
Job Grade: XII
Duty Station: Dessie, Ethiopia.
3. Branch Manager I
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, Banking, Management, or a closely related field.
Work Experience
- At least 7 years of relevant banking experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role or an equivalent position.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of branch operations and banking services.
- Financial management and performance monitoring skills.
- Leadership, team management, and customer relationship management.
- Knowledge of loan administration and transaction supervision.
- Ability to prepare and oversee operational reports.
Job Grade: XII
Duty Stations: Addis Ababa and Welete, Ethiopia.
