Position Summary: Junior Mechanic
The Junior Mechanic will support machinery maintenance, repair operations, and food safety management activities within the manufacturing facility. The role is ideal for fresh graduates interested in industrial maintenance and manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
- Level III or above in Industrial Mechanics, Metal Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance on machinery systems
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical problems
- Assemble mechanical components according to specifications
- Maintain work logs, repair records, and maintenance documentation
- Monitor inventory and request spare parts when needed
- Ensure all maintenance activities follow safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Assist senior mechanics and welders during maintenance activities
- Support implementation and improvement of ISO 22000 food safety systems
- Participate in emergency response and accident reporting procedures
- Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors
