1. Customer Service Officer II (CSO-II)
Required Qualification
BA degree in any of the following fields or a related discipline:
- Management
- Economics
- Accounting

- Public Administration and Development Management
Experience: No work experience required.
Graduation Year: Applicants must have graduated in 2024, 2025, or 2026 G.C.
Additional Requirements
- Must have passed the national exit examination.
- Minimum CGPA:
- Female applicants: 2.75
- Male applicants: 3.00
- Must be below 30 years of age.
Salary: According to the bank’s salary scale.
Place of Work: All Abay Bank branches.
2. Security Guard / Escort
Required Qualification
- Completion of the former Grade 12 or the new Grade 10.
Experience
- At least 6 years of service in the military or police force.
- Must provide official proof of honorable discharge.
Additional Requirements
- Must have a clean criminal record and demonstrate good conduct.
- Must be physically fit and in good health.
- Must have received police or military training.
- Must have adequate knowledge of firearm use and handling.
- Must not have been dismissed from the police or military due to disciplinary problems.
- Must be free from addiction.
Age Requirement: Not older than 40 years.
Place of Work
- Abay Bank Head Office, Addis Ababa, with frequent field assignments.
- Bahir Dar District, Bahir Dar.
3. Branch Manager – Grade 1
Required Qualification
BA degree in Management, Economics, Accounting and Finance, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, or another business-related field.
Experience
- At least 6 years of experience in banking operations.
- A minimum of 2 years must be in a supervisory position.
Place of Work
- Haji Aliyu Branch
- Bale Robe Branch
Both branches fall under Hawassa District.
4. Manager – Interest-Free Banking (IFB)
Required Qualification
MA or BA degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- MA holders: At least 8 years of banking operations experience.
- BA holders: At least 10 years of banking operations experience.
- Senior-level Interest-Free Banking (IFB) experience is also required.
Place of Work: Adama District Office.
