AVAILABLE POSITIONS
1. Customer Service Officer II (CSO-II)
Qualification:
BA degree in any of the following fields or a related discipline:
- Management
- Economics
- Accounting
- Accounting and Finance
- Marketing
- Banking and Finance
- Business Administration
- Business Management
- Public Administration and Development Management
Experience: No work experience required.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have graduated in 2024, 2025, or 2026 G.C.
- Must have passed the national exit examination.
- Minimum CGPA: 2.75 for female applicants and 3.00 for male applicants.
- Must be below 30 years of age.
Salary: According to the bank’s salary scale.
Place of Work: All Abay Bank branches.
2. Security Guard / Escort
Qualification: Completion of the former Grade 12 or the new Grade 10.
Experience: At least 6 years of service in the military or police force.
Additional Requirements:
- Must provide official proof of honorable discharge.
- Must have no criminal record and demonstrate good conduct.
- Must be physically fit and in good health.
- Must have received police or military training.
- Must have adequate knowledge of firearm use and handling.
- Must not have been dismissed from the police or military for disciplinary reasons.
- Must be free from any form of addiction.
- Must not be older than 40 years.
Place of Work:
- Abay Bank Head Office, Addis Ababa, with frequent field assignments
- Bahir Dar District, Bahir Dar
3. Branch Manager – Grade 1
Qualification: BA degree in Management, Economics, Accounting and Finance, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, or another business-related field.
Experience Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience in banking operations.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory position.
Place of Work: Haji Aliyu Branch and Bale Robe Branch under Hawassa District.
4. Manager – Interest-Free Banking (IFB)
Qualification: MA or BA degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
- MA holders: At least 8 years of banking operations experience.
- BA holders: At least 10 years of banking operations experience.
- Senior-level Interest-Free Banking (IFB) experience is also required.
Salary: According to the bank’s salary scale.
Place of Work: Adama District Office.
