Position: Electrician

Education

Applicants should have:

• TVET Level IV Certificate in Electricity
• Certificate of Competency (COC) in Electricity

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Maintain and manage power generation, transmission, and distribution systems
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and lighting systems
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
• Perform general electrical maintenance activities
• Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components
• Troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate testing equipment
• Repair and replace electrical equipment, wiring, and fixtures
• Follow national electrical codes and safety regulations
• Perform circuit breaker corrective maintenance
• Support heating and air conditioning system maintenance
• Use different electrical testing equipment effectively
• Perform other related duties assigned by management

Required Skills

Candidates should have:

• Good knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance
• Knowledge of heating and ventilation systems
• Ability to use electrical testing tools
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work responsibly and follow safety procedures
