Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be non-Chinese citizens in good health
- Meet age limits as of February 15, 2026:
- Bachelor: under 26 years, high school diploma or equivalent
- Master: under 40 years, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- PhD: under 45 years, Master’s degree or equivalent
- Have strong academic records and meet language proficiency requirements
Selection and Notification
Applications are assessed based on:
- Academic performance and research achievements
- Language proficiency
- Supervisor recommendation and overall merits
How to Apply
Applicants shall complete online application (Program Category: Type B; Agency No. 10384) and print out the Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarships. The Scholarships Application Form should be completed in Chinese or English and signed by the applicant.
Applicants shall complete another online application and upload the scan copy of Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarships. There is no need to mail paper application materials.
Application Deadline: February 15, 2026
Shortlisted candidates are submitted to the university for final approval. Results are published In early August. Scholarship awardees are notified via email and provided with Admission Notices and JW202 Visa Application Forms.
