Position Summary – IT Service Desk Analyst-I
Wegagen Bank is looking for a capable and service-oriented IT professional to join its Jimma District Office as an IT Service Desk Analyst-I. This role is critical in ensuring uninterrupted IT service delivery to support the Bank’s operations and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT service requests and incidents related to hardware, software, and network issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate logs and records of support requests and incident resolutions
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate technical support teams
- Contribute to the improvement of IT service management processes and standards
- Ensure timely communication with users regarding issue status and resolution
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Information Systems
- Information Science
- Software Engineering
- or related fields
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in IT support or service desk operations
