Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the University of Twente Scholarship, students must:

  1. Be provisionally admitted to a qualifying UT Master’s program starting in September 2026.
  2. Be among the top 5–10% of their graduation class.
  3. Not have graduated from a UT (under)graduate program.
  4. Meet the English language requirement: IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 90 (with a minimum speaking score of 20 for TOEFL).
  5. Comply with Dutch visa requirements (if applicable).
  6. Not be eligible for a Dutch study loan.

Application Process

  1. Admission: First, apply and secure admission to a UT Master’s program.
  2. Scholarship Application: Once admitted, apply for the UT scholarship using your student number.

Deadlines:

  • Round 1: Opens 15 October 2025 – Closes 1 February 2026, 16:00 CET
  • Round 2: Opens 1 February 2026 – Closes 1 May 2026, 16:00 CET

Note: Only one scholarship can be awarded; rejected Round 1 applicants cannot reapply in Round 2.
