ABOUT THE FELLOWSHIP
The University of Toronto Postdoctoral Fellowship 2026 is now open for international candidates from all nationalities. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Applicants must submit the following:
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To qualify, applicants must:
- Hold or be completing a PhD in Natural Sciences or Engineering (NSE)
- Fulfill doctoral degree requirements by January 1, 2022 or later
- Be able to demonstrate strong leadership and research capability
- Show potential for applying AI methods to scientific inquiry
- Be prepared to resign from any existing postdoctoral fellowship
- Have a co-supervisor with AI experience if the primary is new to AI
- Commit to a full-time appointment at the University of Toronto

The fellowship will run for a two-year period starting in 2026.
